From London City Airport
Take the DLR to Canning Town, then by Underground, Jubilee line to Green Park and the Piccadilly line to South Kensington (journey time 40 minutes).

From Heathrow Airport
Heathrow Express, 15 mins to Paddington mainline station, then the Underground, Circle line to South Kensington.
Or take the Underground, Piccadilly Line to South Kensington station (50 minutes travelling time).

From Stansted Airport
Stansted Express, 50 mins to Liverpool Street main line station, and then by Underground, Circle line to South Kensington.


Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports are some distance from London and a taxi is not recommended for the whole journey. However, if you have to travel by taxi, establish the cost before you get in.

 

TUBE STRIKES
On Monday 8th of April there will be Strikes by Tube drivers who are members of the ASLEF union, which means there will be severe disruption across the London Underground. Little or no service is expected.
Other services are not affected by the strikes. These include the Elizabeth line, London Overground, the DLR, trams and the IFS Cloud Cable Car.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations are located within a 10-minute walk of the South Kensington campus.
Both stations are served by the Circle, District and Piccadilly lines. A map of the London underground is available to view on the TfL website.
A number of buses also stop nearby:
9, 10, 52, 452, 70, C1, 49, 74, 12, 414, 430, 345, 360.

There are also a limited number of pay and display bays on the roads surrounding the campus.
The bays are heavily used and are charged by the hour (tariffs differ for electric, petrol and diesel vehicles) between 08.30 and 18.30. Borough of Kensington and Chelsea have full details on their website.
